I've been crocheting since im about 5 years old. Its a "hobby" that has been transmitted for generations in my family. It started with my Grandma, whom in 1910 (meanwhile the mexican revolution was all happenning) she was 10 years old and she had a desire of learning how to knitt and crochet. But by that time, the area of the country she was at was in a bery bad situation, so in her wish to learn how to knitt she started making her own thread with grass! (just by knotting it all together) and got a pair of rusty nails as needles... that's how her passion and l <3 ve for knitting and crochet started... Many years later she had my mom, whom she took care of teaching all she knew about the art of crafting, not only knitting or crochet... And maaany more years later I appeared on the map, and since I was a very hyperactive child, my mom find the perfect way of calming me down, by giving me a ball of multicolor acrylic yarn and a #6 (G) crochet hook, so then I felt in L <3 ve for the first time....
