My Mom tried to teach me to knit when I was about 7 - as much as I wanted to learn, my fingers did not want to cooperate. I finaly picked up a crochet hook when I was pregnant with my second child - and viola! It cam so easy to me! I never lost my desire to knit, so I finally picked up some knitting books and magazines and have (I won't say mastered yet) learned alot!
