I love quilting and fabric. I love to make quilts for family and friends. Through a local quilt shop, I make quilts for the NICU of our local hospital, PeaceHealth. I am also getting involved in making hospital gowns for dolls that are made and distributed to kids at the hospital. I love everything about quilting. About 3 years ago I started machine quilting my quilts, as long as not bigger than twin size, I enjoy hand quilting too, but time is not something I have a lot of.
I also like crochet, cross stitch, embroidery and sewing. I go on an annual retreat with friends to the Oregon Coast for a week to quilt, shop and enjoy each others cooking. We stop at quilt shops and the way there and on the way home. It's a fun week!
