I have been crocheting since I was 9 years old. My aunt taught me one day when I came home from school. I always admired her and her crocheting, so she taught me the love of crochet. I am so happy she did as we crocheted for many years before she passed away from our saddened hearts. But she will always remain there in my heart as long as I keep the love of crochet there.
I have wanted to learn to knit for many years, but could never pick it up or learn it from anyone, so finally one day I sat down with the Elizabeth zimmerman video, The Knitting Workshop, and taught myself to knit...so here I am almost two years later, kmnitting away like I had been doing it all my life...and my very first knit project was a cabled purse!! Pattern found on Lion brand Yarn website....free of course!!!
