My mom used to sew all our Sunday dresses and Halloween costumes, and I learned to sew from her via osmosis. :) After college, I wanted to try something new, and knitting seemed the most practical and portable, so I started knitting, which eventually has led to crochet, spinning, and tatting. I'd love to quilt as well, but we move a lot and fabric stashes take up a lot of space, so that will probably have to wait.
