I'm a self-taught hobby cake decorator. I have always made my childrens birthday cakes but I would say my cake decorating skills took off around 2009 when I made my first 3D Spongebob cake for my 2 year old grandson. It was a lot of work and frustration but oddly it made me want to learn more! Thank you all for the wonderful comments.
