I've always wanted to learn to crochet and recently I just decided to go ahead and learn. Friends of mine are expecting a baby and I thought it would be a perfect excuse to start. I've always wanted to learn to crochet and recently I just decided to go ahead and learn. Friends of mine are expecting a baby and I thought it would be a perfect excuse to start. I signed up for a beginners class at Michael's craft stores to get an idea of what I would need to know to start. Luckily, one of my roommates knows how to crochet and she has been helping me too!
So far (as of August 2012) I've made two vests (of the same pattern), a capelet, a scarf, two baby blankets, and a hat. I'm really enjoying my new-found craft and I it gives me an excuse to keep the computer and tv turned off so I can concentrate on my current project.
