my grandmother was always making something with her sisters- I loved to watch her make eggs and candles and paint. I think I can blame her for my desire and I am sure she would love the credit. When asked as a child what I wanted to be when I grew up I told my mother an artist, a writer, and or an actor- She laughed at me and said I could not be any of those things- When I asked to take art in jr high I was told no, I had to take something else- over the course of the years I wanted to try again and my mother suggested an art class. I said no and then proceeded to paint and paint and paint- the two paintings I actually did for other people I cant find the pictures of but the thing was the people I painted them for thought I had and or was in a class. I was not because I could not afford the 75 bucks at the time. So, here I am twenty some odd years later taking all the courses on Craftsy and having fun learning new things and being whom I choose to be instead of who and or what others want me to be.
