I started crafting by painting on paper and silk for many years. Then I got bitten by the quilting-bug and now I am into stitching. I spent several years with a group of quilters called "Network Quilters", working for exhibitions and gave workshops in quiltmaking, surface design and freemotion quilting as you can see on the website. But all this turned out to be too time-consuming for me, so I quit some time ago. I also like knitting with handdyed yarn and discovering ever new ways and techniques to learn. I think knitting and stitching are very relaxing activities whereas the designprocess in making artquilts is often challenging and requires a lot of time, which currentlly I don't have.
