Later I started sewing in grade school, because I got tired of hand-me-downs that were too large from my sisters'. I fouind I loved it and could sew up skirts in a jiffy.
As I got older and married I sewed my maternity clothes. We had a factory close by that made and sold fabric remnants for pennies! Needless to say I had a great maternity wardrobe!
In between I would make and try all new crafts that came out and had a great time experimenting!
Now I love making what ever hits my creative side I love surprising friends with something unexpected and handmade. I love to watch their faces lightup. I feel I have made a complete circle, following in my Dads' footsteps! .
