I don't really know how I started crafting. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 5, My mother was the least crafty person on the planet so I learned nothing from her but for some reason I used to enjoy embroidery, and embroidered a tablecloth when I was about 7. I did nothing more except school sewing ... yuk .... till I was 16 then I knitted myself the baggiest jumper with the longest arms .. it would have looked better on a chimpanzee than a human!!!!! Sometime later I started knitting for my babies, and then got into Hobbytex, which is about all I did while I raised 5 children and then in about 2001 I decided to make a quilt for my only daughter, then aged 8 ... so I jumped in and made a queen size and I have been fumbling around with various quilting projects and other crafts ever since.
