My grandma was my inspiration. She sewed for everyone in the family and had a closet full of quilts. After my children grew up, I took my first quilting class and then made the same pattern with different fabrics for every family member. When I retired in 2010, I bought a Gammill long arm and finished the quilting of my own tops and those of friends.
