I've had a love of crafts from a very young age. My mother taught me to sew and crochet. My material grandmother was a knitter - I didn't really get the hang of that one. My paternal grandmother was into all types of crafts from ceramics, decoupage, quilling and many others and it's from her I got my crafting skills. I remember going to visit her and doing some sort of craft with her - whatever she was into that year. I started quilting in the 80's and then took a break from that and started making porcelian dolls. I met my husband through his sister-in-law at a doll making seminar. For awhile I'd do my doll sin the summber and quilts in the winter. Now I am just doing quilting. I started learning about art quilts and got hooked again. I love to learn new techniques. I am a bit of a technology geek and love to find new tools to help me do my arts.
