As a kid, I sewed clothes and accessories for my dolls and my dragon collection -- and when I was older, I started sewing costumes for myself, for the local Renaissance Festival and other geekery. I also love jewelry and sparkly things, so I learned wire wrapping as a way to make jewelry without expensive equipment. I'm increasingly interested in garment construction from the ground up, so after learning to sew, I learned to create and design fabric shapes by crocheting and knitting, then learned to spin yarn, then learned to weave, and have dabbled in dyeing throughout the entire process. Fabric shaping, construction, and manipulation are endlessly fascinating! ;D
