I have two loves when it comes to crafting: 1) scrapbooking; and, 2) sewing. When it comes to scrapbooking, I am a Creative Memories independent consultant and love showing others how to preserve their memories. On the other hand, when it comes to sewing, I once owned my own sewing business, Sew Happy Productions, and did all sorts of memory quilts so people could save their memories on fabric with different types of quilts, which also served as family heirlooms. As a hobby, I also love sewing clothing and home decor. I tried alterations professionally as well, but found that my skill level did not match what was necessary to be a professional seamstress and perform quality alterations on all types of garments. Out of all of the classes offered at Craftsy, it is definitely hard to make a decision! I also love to knit and crochet, in addition to cooking and other paper crafts like making cards with rubber stamps. I have way more hobbies than I do time!
