I strarted sewing 2 years ago - when I turned seventy. I had a sewing machine and have always done mending. Something just hit me and I read my sewing manual over and over - and now I can use it. I have bought book after book to teach myslef how. First I redid my chusions and then I started out with table runners to quilt. I have learned so many things in two years. I need to live until I'm a hundred to make all the things that I have on my list.
Gardening, cooking, baking and reading historical novels are a few of my passions. I'm in the process of practicing machine embroidery.
I started paper piecing a one inch hexagon King size quilt in September and I can hardly wait to get it done (the top). Maybe a couple of more weeks - becuase I don't want to leave it un done
These Crafsty classes are the most wonderful thing for me. I have never taken any lessons. I didn't have time to drive some where and sit. With these lessons - I can watch them while I'm cooking - folding clothes - what ever and every instuctor is so much fun to watch.
I have an accounting business and with tax season over -I will have more time to spend making some things from the classes.................................
