I've been sewing since I was five. My maternal grandmother taught me to hand embroider and my paternal grandmother taught me machine sewing. At one time I made ball gowns, wedding ensembles and children's clothing. I still enjoy baby and children clothing construction with hand sewing, but for the last 25 years my sewing has been mostly quilt piecing and hand quilting.
