I have been upcycling and reinventing the use of vintage goods my entire life. I credit my mom for my love of vintage patterns though. An excellent knitter, crocheter, and seamstress, she once bought a German/English Dictionary just so she could translate German knitting patterns. As a kid I would disappear into the European knitting and sewing pattern books for hours :gah:
