Been a crafter most of my life and love all kinds of crafts. But quilting is the one thing that I seem to always come back to. Made my first quilt when my daughter was 2 and she is now 40. She still has that quilt and I look back at it and think, OMGosh,,, I knew nothing. Have come a long way and just recently got interested in doing the machine quilting. Too many tops and not enough time to hand quilt them. Studied art for many years and loved oil painting, so the artistic side of me carries over to my quilts. My favorite technique is applique. Quilters are the best people in the world. I am a member of our local quilt guild and served as treasurer this past year. Have made so many new friends with the guild and my quilting groups. Love it.
