I love to knit in the quiet of the early morning before the events of the day take over, and to have a simple project to take along to meetings or as a passenger in the car.

At 71, as of yesterday, I am also in the process of making my third quilt ever: it is for a friend who started feeling old when she turned 80. Sometimes it is better not to pay attention to such milestones, I think.
