I am a geeky number cruncher for a major car/motorcycle manufacturer that spends all day at her desk thinking about yarn, fabric, fiber, color combinations, current and future projects, and, of course, Burn Notice. I've been sewing for as long as I can remember. Both my mom and grandmother sewed and I was destined to be a sewer too. I like to sew small items and do repairs for friends. I've only been crocheting since 2007 but I'm super crafty and a machine about it. I started when a friend of mine got pregnant with her first child and my mom wouldn't make her a baby blanket for me. My mom told me with that tone where I know she means what she is saying, "If you want your friends to have blankets from you, you will have to make them yourself." WELL FINE!!! I WILL!!! And I did! Go figure that me knitting was not far behind. That madness started in 2009. My new crafty interest...spinning. I'm a crafting fool!
