My first experiences with any sort of crafting began with a craft set christmas gift from my parents. It included (if I remember correctly) a plastic round tube thing for knitting, hard plastic canvas sewing for yarn, colour-coded pattern for said plastic canvas and some other stuff I can't remember. My first experiences with any sort of crafting began with a craft set christmas gift from my parents. It included (if I remember correctly) a plastic round tube thing for knitting, hard plastic canvas sewing for yarn, colour-coded pattern for said plastic canvas and some other stuff I can't remember. My mom encouraged me throughout the years teaching me basic sewing which I later expanded on during highschool and then self-teaching. My grandmother taught me to crochet and while I haven't cultivated that particular skill I havve recently taken up the hook again so I can learn more from her before she passes on. My favourite hobby is, far and away, cross stitching (with sewing coming a close second). My favourite artist is Nora Corbett. I have recently discovered hand-dyed linens and a new obsession starts! The next craft I want to learn is tatting. Will see how that goes :)
