I was about 7 years of age. My mom taught my sister and I how to knit. I just ended up keeping it up over the years. My mom couldn't afford knitting needles, so my sister and I put earasers on the end of our pencils and knitted with pencils. We started out with Barbie clothes. I have all boys at home now so, to pass that on to our boys would be difficult, lol. I love to knit for family and friends. I am now glad to spread my knitting on to others. It makes me so happy to see others appriciate hand made things.
I like to knit trendy, stylish knits. I tend to keep to complicated, detailed items. I like challanges...that way I don't tend to put it down for too long. :)
