My great grandfather was a tailor and his daughter (my grandmother) was a seamstress, I have always mended my clothes but now I am fully into sewing my own clothes, bags, hats, jackets, etc. I love it as it is practical as well as creative and it gives me a fabulous sense of satisfaction when I can wear my finished outfit and especially when I get compliments for it!!!
