I have been on a great journey of discovery with quilting for the last three years. I inherited my Mum's awesome craft machine with a wealth of fabrics and notions and very little understanding of this priviledge. My curiosity was just peaking at Mum's creative and amazing achievements when she suddenly passed, so my greatest regret is that it took her passing for me to explore the world of quilting and crafting and to discover the creative fire within myself that I didn't realise existed. Having said that I have not let her down, I have attended classes and on to my third quilt and have made some cool things like frilly aprons, stuffed owls and a creative play wall hanging for a local challenge. I just wish I could retire to have more time to enjoy this wonderful world of play!
