I learned to knit and croche from my grandmother when I was about 12. Then I knitted a sweater, a sweater for my boyfriend, and a baby set for each of my four children as they came along. My mother taught me to sew as I watched her make my gradation prom dress. I made many of my maturnity clothes (I had a lot of them for every season). Now as I am about to retire, I have a passion for making quilts and wall hangings. What fun! I love putting the colors together I love colors! So I look forward to making lots of quilts for all the members of my extended family and all seven grandchildren! With the help of Craftsy I am learning the techniques of quilting from the best teachers without leaving home (no gas expense).
