A friend taught me how to sew when I was 13. My mother was a wonderful seamstress, and she taught me much more about sewing than you can learn from a pattern. Over the years, I made clothes for myself, then for my seven children. I took a quilting class from a friend about 12 years ago. My problem now is that I have way more ideas, patterns and fabric than I have time. Someday!
