My mother taught me to knit when I was 8 and crochet at 9. I also sew, quilt, and am learning to spin my own wool. I enjoy gardening, canning, and cheese making. I am retiring in September this year and looking forward to getting my house in order and working full time in the ministry as a Pioneer as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and doing my crafts to supplement my (our) income. I would also like to be licensed as a wild life rescue person such as squirrels, raccoons, and other furry orphaned babies. My husband will be retiring in November this year. He is also very skilled as an electronics/computer guru, wood working, and also a weaver. We live with 2 rescued dogs and an African Grey Parrot.
