I took a short course on sewing in high school, which I did very badly and then as a young wife and mother made several dresses for work as an economic necessity. Over the years I did many crafts including knitting, crocheting, cross stitch and then I became almost obsessed with Stretch and Sew and knits. I made outfits for almost everyone that I knew. About 10 years ago I became similarly obsessed with quilting and have pretty much settled there. Most everyone I know has been given at least one quilt, so this year I'm doing several BOM's.
