Penny spent many afternoons of her childhood happily crafting and crocheting the granny squares her mother taught her to make in the play-house she and her father built. The urge to knit took hold after college and began as a way to relax from the demands of the workday. Today it is the intersection and interaction between technology and fibre craft that drives her work. She lives in Westchester, NY with her husband, the yarn, and a cat.
