I started sewing with my mother in 4-H, learned all kinds of crafts from her, grandmother taught me to crochet (which I have to relearn now), and sewed all my own clothes through college. I then tried learning quilting 25 years ago when my kids were babies with Eleanor Burns, but teaching got in my way for some years.
