I was born in England and both my Grandmother and Mother were embroiderers and knitters. I learned to do basic embroidery in my junior school and later took my Design exam in Dressmaking, in the senior school. I then went on to improve my embroidery skills, which then led to Patchwork/Quilting and now I'm experimenting with embroidery on patchwork. I'm not much good at this, but I enjoy it - and that's the whole point of hobbies, isn't it!!!
