I made my own clothes in high school after learning in junior high. My mother made her vintage Singer sewing machine available to me and I made wedding dresses, graduation dresses, curtains, baby clothes, and loved it all. I attended a "Quilt in a Day" local class in the late 80's and loved the possibilities of quilt making. Now I have a long arm machine and I am able to finish my own quilts.
