I've been "crafting" since I learned to knit at about age 8 (over 50 years). Cross-stitch and embroidery came next, then garment sewing. I didn't begin to quilt till my forties. In my early 50s I began to combine techniques into art quilting, and I learned to spin. I enjoy all of these things, and am blessed with a lovely garden in which to stitch on sunny spring and summer days.
