I live in beautiful New England, am mother to three lovely children(my oldest is off to college and my youngest is in high school), and wife to an overworked and wonderful husband. I learned to embroider and use the sewing machine from my Great Aunt Florence when I was about 5. I taught myself to smock using iron-on dots and Kitty Benton's book when my oldest daughter was 2. The dots were the end of me and I didn't try smocking again until a friend offered to pleat fabric for me. The next thing I knew I was making Christmas dresses for both my daughters while my son was crawling around. I added knitting to the mix when our babysitter taught my daughter to knit. I thought if she could do it, I could too. Now that my children don't require quite as much of my time, I am finally able to fulfill a long held dream by starting my own fabric supply business! Pink Hollybush Designs is a small fabric shop with the highest quality heirloom, children's and eventually fashion fabrics. My location close to NY City and the Garment District is my chance to provide you with something you won't find everywhere else. What we lack in quantity, we hope to make up in quality, service and price.
