I began sewing at the age of 10. By 12, I'd made a quilt for my newborn sister, clothes for my dolls, and even a cotton bra. I designed a wedding gown for my mother at 17. Through marriage and a family I continued to sew for my husband and children while working as a seamstress for retail stores and private clients.
