I thought it would be fun to take a 4 hour quilting class at JoAnn's Fabric in 2010. We made a block using strip quilting and half square triangles. After one more 4 hr. class I decided that I was fully prepared to make a queen size quilt for my granddaughter. Soon discovered that I should have started with a place mat, but continued my project. BTW, the pattern I chose was not for beginners! Five months later.....the quilt was finished. I decided that I would rather do a projects that would only take a month to do, which would leave quilting behind. However, I have a grandson. How could I do something special for one and not the other. Quilt 2 started (and finished)...and am currently on quilt #24. : )
