I thought it would be fun to take a 4 hour quilting class at JoAnn's Fabric in 2010. We made a block using strip quilting and half square triangles. After one more 4 hr. class I decided that I was fully prepared to make a queen size quilt for my granddaughter. Soon discovered that I should have started with a place mat, but continued my project.
