How did this girl get into this? I did not want to have anything to do with something that required creativity. I was surrounded by a group of friends/coworkers who were quilters. Many times they had asked if I wanted to do a quilt block for a quilt they were making for someone (new baby, wedding). My response was always, "yeah, right" followed by laughter. When my niece became pregnant with twins, I decided that I would make a baby quilt. I ventured to the fabric store with Kim to select fabric. She said I looked like a deer in the headlights. I was way beyond panicky. I got through that quilt and found something creative that I actually loved to do. No turning back after that first quilt!
