I love the creative process and the product that comes from my play. I have been sewing since I was a young girl. My mother allowed me to sew on her White Singer in the 50's. I made Barbie clothes ( a lot of scarfs and capes) and my own clothes when I was a teenager. I enjoy many creative endeavors and have spent my life as an educator, playing with ideas, curriculum, strategies, and techniques. I always loved weaving the art project into the learning process. Machines have changed so much, I now have a machine with a computer, imagine that. I sew on a Husqvarna, Ruby. I love this machine, it has many capabilities, those that I have dreamed of having on a machine. I have learned how to quilt on this site and had so much fun with the workshops that are offered.
