I started crafting in junior high, when wood & metal shop and home economics were required in my 7th & 8th grade years. I have continued to sew, and rarely do some wood working. Along the way I have picked up a little bit of leather craft, stained glass, and glass bead making. Over the years I have tried to teach myself to knit and crochet, unsuccessfully. While I can managed a hook, I'm not very good nor comfortable with it. About 2 years ago, a friend taught me the basics of knitting, and I made several flat scarves. Late last year, I enrolled in the "Wee Ones" course on Craftsy and stepped out of my comfort zone of flat knitting and learned how to knit in the round, increase, and decrease. From there I enrolled in several other Craftsy courses and have been experimenting with other projects.
