My mother taught me to knit when I was about 10. At that age I also enjoyed needlepoint and cross-stitch, although I haven't picked that up again in some time. I stopped knitting for a while but have recently rediscovered it.
I started crocheting about 3 years ago.
Just this year I have really fallen more in love with knitting and crocheting than ever. I have recently started dyeing yarn and I am learning spinning.
