I learned to sew and knit as a young girl and made many of my own clothes starting at about 10. I knit my first sweater at 13. I've always been drawn to textiles and love putting colors and patterns together. As a young mother I took quilting classes at our local community college; sewed my daughter's prom dresses; made quilted crafts for shops and boutiques....and always longed for more time for my textiles/ crafts...always acquiring more and more fabrics and yarn and notions than I could ever keep up with. I now have a deluxe embroidery machine that I want to use more and I still love hand embroidery. I also have a background in Interior Design, which ties in very well with my textile/craft hobby.
