I am in love with paper's combination of fragility and strength, its playfulness, its flat planes of color and its clean lines. There is always more to learn.
Arielle: I started writing when I was six, with my first story, The Three-Headed Dragon, which I illustrated in crayon and presented to my parents as a gift. I found my anchor in poetry and have been writing ever since. Words are light posts, illuminating a depth and truth of experience that, paradoxically, cannot be captured with language. The opportunity to collaborate with Molly, with her beautiful talent and scope of expression, and give physical form to my words has been one of the most fulfilling creative endeavors of my writing career.
