My intoduction to sewing was watching my grandmother make doll clothes for me on her treadle sewing machine. Later I had a friend who had a needlework shop so I started learning cross stitch, knitting & needlepoint. I got into quilting in the early 90's and then machine embroidery a couple of years ago.
