My mother taught me to crochet when I was very young. Also when I was a young, I learned to knit on my own with some help from friends. I stopped knitting many years ago because I found it too hard. At that time crocheting was easier for me. I picked up knitting again a couple of years ago and I'm enjoying it more now than ever. YouTube and online classes are great. I have learned so much that way along with some good knitting friends

I started sewing making Barbie Doll clothes. I now sew garments, bags, some home dec, and dabble a little in quilting. I'm teaching my Granddaughters to sew and knit and love doing that. As soon as I get my crafting space done, I hope teach kids and adults to sew, crochet, and knit.
