I love being creative with my mind and hands. Started at a very young age learning to sew on my mother's Featherweight 221. My dad was in the Navy and that sewing machine traveled everywhere with us. She took it on the ship to the Philippines . On board the ship she made a lady a Meirmaid that needed to attend a costume party on the ship. I was only 6 but still remember her sewing on the little black machine in the small state room. Now that I have grown and retired from 34 years of teaching, I now love teaching all types of sewing in my studio. Quilting is a real love and I direct a quilt ministry called PRAYERS AND SQUARES once a week. Making lap quilts on request for any individual that is in need of prayers.
