I started quilting and mixing art with sewing about 2 years ago, right after my mother passed away. I needed a diversion since she and I talked on the phone everyday. It has been over one year and I wish I could show her what I have learned. Online classes like Craftsy/com has done a lot for me and my sewing. I am able to help others too, because I can visualize what they are talking about and we can work on solutions together.

Anyway, I just entered my first competition (Wish me luck)...I love make art pieces. It is so much fun. Update: Eliminated. Just entered another contest and was picked "to be judges" and my piece is on display in Phila Quilt Show. Sept 13-16.
I work at a fabric store so I have access to all types of fabric, it is a wonderful world where you can handle all colors of the rainbow.
