I was encouraged by my sister-in-law to make a quilt for a granddaughter and have been quilting about six years now. I truly enjoy the fact that you can create a piece of art with fabric. I'm currently working on a queen-size quilt for my oldest granddaughter who requested that I incorporate fabric from a recently deceased grandmother's clothing.
