I've been sewing and knitting for as long as I can remember. I did some hand patchwork when my children were small then gave up. I started again (by machine this time) about 5 years ago and am really enjoying it. I'm also doing some cross stitch ( a baby birth record) for the next grandchild due in about 8 weeks. I'm knitting a bolero cardigan for my granddaughter and I have pyjamas to make for the 4 grandchildren. When the new baby arrives I will be smocking a christening gown for it. I do some crochet as well. I also enjoy gardening. I always seem to have plenty to do. I have basically self taught myself but I'm really enjoying this class and learning easier ways to do things.
