I'm 71 and love to do handwork but I'm very slow. My hands don't work like they did when I was younger. My aunt taught me to crochet when I was seven years old. And my mother taught me to embroidery when I was about seven or eight. I started learning to quilt about 15 years ago and am now try to learn to knit. I do cross stitch as well as canvas stitch.
